Job description

Insight Global is seeking an Network Operations Shift Lead (3rd Shift) to sit in Arlington, VA. This candidate will play a critical leadership role supporting a highly secure, modernized enterprise environment as part of a large-scale cloud migration initiative. The Operations Shift Lead will oversee day-to-day operations during overnight hours, manage incident response efforts, coordinate cross-functional technical teams, and ensure mission-critical systems remain available and performant. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise across infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and operations while thriving in fast-paced, high-visibility environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a cleared professional looking to lead operational excellence within a cutting-edge, highly automated government enterprise platform.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in Windows or Linux server environments (or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training)

Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)

Experience leading an operations team or serving as a senior escalation point

Strong incident management, triage, escalation, and resolution experience

Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, or similar

Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar

Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

Working knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)

Understanding of DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and switching Prior experience supporting DISA and DISA mission partners

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

Previous shift lead or team lead experience in a DoD, military, cleared NOC, or SOC environment

Experience creating or improving SOPs, operational playbooks, and escalation procedures

Experience identifying operational trends and driving process improvements

Benefits & conditions

$55/hr to $65/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
