Job description

An Insight Global client is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join their growing IT team. This individual will serve as a key resource for end-user support, helping maintain a reliable and secure technology environment across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting Windows-based systems, Microsoft 365 technologies, mobile devices, and enterprise applications while providing exceptional customer service to internal users.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, account access, and connectivity-related issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Windows 10/11 devices, including performance concerns, operating system updates, and driver-related problems.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests within Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and related identity management platforms.

Support mobile device management (MDM) solutions, including Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager, to ensure corporate devices remain secure and compliant.

Install, configure, and maintain enterprise applications, productivity tools, and endpoint security software.

Document technical issues, troubleshooting efforts, and resolutions within the organization’s ticketing system.

Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including device configuration, user provisioning, and account deactivation.

Partner with infrastructure and security teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

Maintain compliance with established security standards, device management policies, and patching requirements.

Support conference room technology, Teams Rooms, audiovisual equipment, and collaboration tools.

Track IT assets, maintain inventory records, and coordinate hardware repairs and vendor support activities.

Troubleshoot printer hardware, connectivity, and driver-related issues across local and networked environments.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support, or Help Desk environment.
  • Strong experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
  • Experience administering mobile device management (MDM) platforms and supporting iOS and Android devices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Exchange Admin Center, and identity management platforms.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications and common business software, including Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair issues involving laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, docking stations, and peripheral devices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills within a professional environment. * Basic networking knowledge, including DNS, DHCP, and wireless connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration, and modern endpoint management best practices.
  • Exposure to security and endpoint protection tools such as SentinelOne, BeyondTrust, and ThreatLocker
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
