Job description
- Lead large-scale transformations in the operations domain, from strategy definition and operating model redesign to implementation
- Manage a programme or multiple projects and coordinate delivery to ensure successful execution, with focus on quality, planning and stakeholder alignment
- Develop and communicate operational strategies and roadmaps that translate objectives into concrete process improvements and technology-driven solutions
- Design and implement smart, data-driven and technology-driven solutions - such as automation and AI
- Coach and develop consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning, excellence and innovation within the team
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, governance and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment, manage dependencies and achieve targeted outcomes in complex transformation initiatives
- Translate emerging trends, regulatory developments and innovative technologies in banking operations into viable transformation propositions
- Contribute to thought leadership in banking operations and transformation, sharing expertise and best practices to strengthen the team’s knowledge and market position
Requirements
You are naturally solution-oriented, proactive and able to communicate problem-solving ideas effectively. More importantly, you bring your own strengths, perspective and personality. As a (Senior) Manager you will also have:
- A completed university degree in a relevant field, with strong academic results
- Proven experience in consultancy and/or the banking sector, with a track record of leading large-scale transformation programmes or complex operational initiatives
- Deep expertise in banking operations domains, particularly modernisation of core banking systems, including understanding of product propositions, operating models and process architecture
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities, with experience in developing and growing consulting teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to align with senior leadership and operate effectively across functions
- Fluent Dutch and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of a third language and international experience is a plus
- A strong interest in digital transformations within the banking sector, with affinity for process optimisation, operational excellence and innovative technologies such as AI and automation
- Experience integrating strategic thinking into operational design and demonstrating thought leadership in your domain
