Job description
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows, hardware, software and peripherals.
- Support and manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM.
- Install, configure and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Manage patching, software updates and device lifecycle management.
- Support hardware refreshes, new device deployments and equipment moves/adds/changes.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and work with Networking, Security and other IT teams where required.
- Manage incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.
- Assist with asset management, inventory and CMDB accuracy.
- Support wider IT projects and technology initiatives.
- Work closely with users, IT teams, vendors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
My Customer is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer with strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and Endpoint Management. The successful candidate will be hands-on, customer-focused and confident troubleshooting complex technical issues., * Strong Windows 10/11 support experience.
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM.
- Strong endpoint management and software deployment experience.
- Hardware, desktop and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Active Directory / Group Policy experience.
- Experience working within an ITIL/service desk environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent prioritisation and time-management skills.
- Lab IT skills would be benefical
