Job description

Developing and maintaining responsive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript
Collaborating with backend teams to integrate APIs and microservices
Contributing to code quality through testing, code reviews and best practices
Working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS to support deployment workflows
Participating in technical discussions and contributing to architectural decisions within your scope
Supporting the optimisation of frontend performance and user experience
Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript, with hands-on experience building production applications
Solid understanding of APIs, microservices architecture and how frontend applications integrate with backend systems
Experience working with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control systems
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-have

Experience with TypeScript or other typed JavaScript variants
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or containerisation
Exposure to distributed systems or performance optimisation
Certifications such as Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, Google Mobile Web Specialist, or JavaScript Certification (JSE)
Experience with additional tools or platforms from the wider stack (Python, Java, SQL, Power BI)
