Job description

We are looking to build our SAP Architect capability within our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern SAP technologies, cloud infrastructure and integration strategies in a contract-based role that could shape how we deliver enterprise systems solutions., This opportunity is to register your interest in SAP Architect roles where you would contribute to designing and implementing enterprise system solutions using SAP S/4HANA and SAP RISE. Roles of this type sit within a collaborative technical environment in Birmingham, West Midlands, and could involve working across cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), modern integration patterns and digital transformation initiatives., * Designing and delivering SAP architecture strategies across S/4HANA and ECC environments

Leading SAP integration initiatives using APIs, microservices and CI/CD pipelines
Advising on SAP RISE implementations and cloud migration approaches
Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to define system governance and best practices
Supporting the design of data pipelines and ensuring data quality across SAP solutions
Mentoring technical teams and contributing to technical standards and process improvement
Working with infrastructure teams on Azure, AWS or GCP deployments, Kubernetes and containerisation approaches, Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:

Requirements

Proven experience in SAP architecture design and SAP integration strategy
Strong technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and modern SAP technology stacks
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Working knowledge of APIs, microservices, CI/CD practices and distributed systems
Familiarity with data pipeline design and data quality principles
Technical proficiency with at least one programming language (Java, Python, .NET or similar)
Understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, BPMN and UML

Nice-to-have

SAP RISE and cloud migration experience
Background in financial analysis or process improvement
Knowledge of governance frameworks and CSDR compliance
Experience with infrastructure tools such as Terraform or F5
Database design and SQL optimisation skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
