Job description

  • Own and manage the lifecycle of assigned business applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, governance standards, and application roadmaps
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, key users, and IT, translating business requirements into structured demand, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage the delivery of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Demand Management, for assigned applications
  • Coordinate and oversee external application service providers to ensure service quality, SLA compliance, and continuous service improvement
  • Ensure applications comply with enterprise architecture, security, data governance, integration, and compliance standards.
  • Drive application portfolio optimization through standardization, rationalization, lifecycle planning, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Support the full application lifecycle, including implementation, upgrades, enhancements, maintenance, and decommissioning activities
  • Oversee the resolution and escalation of application incidents and service requests to ensure reliable business operations
  • Partner with key users and business process owners to identify, prioritize, and implement application enhancements and process improvements
  • Coordinate change requests, enhancements, and operational support activities with external application management providers
  • Plan and coordinate application testing, release management, deployments, and post-release stabilization
  • Maintain comprehensive application documentation, operational procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles
  • Monitor application interfaces, scheduled jobs, system performance, and recurring issues in collaboration with service providers and integration specialists to ensure operational stability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in business application management, application service delivery, business process support, vendor management, and continuous service improvement
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices (ITIL experience is an advantage)
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and outsourced application support services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive sustainable improvements
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex application initiatives in a dynamic business environment
  • Business fluency in English
