Router Programmer

In this role you will be responsible for programming and running CNC Wood Router machine centers. The role will also assists the Production Manager in selecting the appropriate machine, tooling, and operation for efficient manufacturing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Responsible for the programming and maintenance of computer numeric controlled production equipment

Operates one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment

Selects appropriate settings and adjusts as necessary

Knowledge of various types of wood and machine procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials, and layout techniques

Studies blueprints sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements

Knowledge of AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, and BobCAD for programming.

What makes you a great fit:

At least one year of machining experience

Ability to read/interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and other specifications

Ability to read and accurately use measuring tools such as a tape measure, caliper or protractor
