Want to lead the team responsible for bringing exciting new products to market?

Join our Marketing Team as an Ecommerce Content Coordinator, where you’ll lead the delivery of new product launches across multiple ecommerce marketplaces while remaining hands-on in creating high-converting product content.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes and delivering commercial results. You’ll lead a team responsible for launching new products, optimising listings and ensuring every product is given the very best opportunity to succeed online.

Every launch you oversee and every improvement you make will help more customers discover and buy our products., * Lead, motivate and support the New Product team, ensuring launches are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.

  • Coach and develop team members, providing guidance, feedback and support to help them continually improve.
  • Plan, prioritise and coordinate the team’s workload to ensure deadlines are met across multiple product launches.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve quality and increase productivity.
  • Work closely with Buying, Photography and Graphic Design teams to ensure products are launched successfully.
  • Create compelling product messaging, descriptions and marketing content that reflects our brand and converts browsers into buyers.
  • Optimise product listings through effective titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords and imagery to maximise visibility and conversion.
  • Manage A+ Content, Enhanced Brand Content and other rich media to create engaging customer experiences.
  • Monitor launch and listing performance using key metrics including sessions, click-through rate, conversion rate, sales velocity and customer feedback.
  • Analyse performance data, identify opportunities and implement improvements to maximise sales and return on investment.
  • Carry out competitor and market research to identify trends, opportunities and best practice.
  • Ensure product information remains accurate, engaging and consistent across all online marketplaces.

Requirements

  • Previous experience leading, mentoring or coordinating a team, or someone ready to step into their first leadership role.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce engaging, persuasive product content.
  • A strong understanding of ecommerce conversion optimisation and what influences customers to buy online.
  • Experience managing or optimising product listings on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and turn insights into action.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and keyword optimisation for ecommerce listings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Graphic design experience or experience working with creative assets would be advantageous but is not essential.

Start times are flexible between 8:00am and 9:30am, with finish times between 4:00pm and 5:30pm, depending on your start time. You’ll have either a 30-minute or 1-hour lunch break each day.

The role is based on-site at our modern offices near York (YO60 6PG), five days a week. Due to our location, having your own transport is essential.
