Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative HRIS Analyst to provide temporary support to our HRIS team for a six-month engagement. This role will support the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of Workday while helping manage day-to-day operational support, system configuration, reporting, testing, and process improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Workday experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across Human Resources, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, and Information Technology. 6 month contract. W2 role Remote available (East Coast working hours), Workday Administration & Support

  • Provide day-to-day support for Workday business processes and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, data discrepancies, and user inquiries.
  • Support ticket queue management, prioritization, and resolution within established service levels.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to identify root causes and recommend sustainable solutions.

Configuration & Enhancements

  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, validations, notifications, calculated fields, and security as assigned.
  • Support the implementation of system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Document requirements and assist with solution design and testing activities.
  • Participate in Workday biannual release reviews and regression testing.

Reporting & Data Integrity

  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with established governance standards.
  • Analyze HR data and provide reporting support for operational and strategic initiatives.

Testing & Change Management

  • Execute functional and user acceptance testing for new configurations, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Document test scenarios, results, and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and user guides.
  • Support stakeholder communications and training activities related to system changes.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, and IT teams.
  • Provide Workday expertise and guidance to business stakeholders.
  • Assist with annual HR processes, including performance cycles, compensation planning, benefits administration, and organizational changes., At the end of the six-month assignment, the HRIS Analyst will have:
  • Supported timely resolution of Workday support requests.
  • Contributed to the delivery of Workday enhancements and annual HR processes.
  • Improved data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Provided additional capacity for HRIS operational support and project work.
  • Maintained accurate documentation and testing records for assigned initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of HRIS experience with Workday.
  • Experience supporting one or more Workday functional areas, such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent, Performance, Time Tracking, or Reporting.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Workday reports.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting global HR organizations.
  • Experience with Workday security administration.
  • Experience with Workday integrations and EIBs.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other case management platforms.
  • Experience supporting large-scale HR technology initiatives or system implementations.
