Job description

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Power BI Developer roles based in Manchester. Roles of this type could involve partnering with business stakeholders, data engineers and analytics teams to design, develop and maintain Power BI solutions that deliver clarity from complex datasets. You could work on end-to-end reporting delivery, from data connection through to dashboard deployment, with scope to influence how organisations see and understand their data., * Developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that translate business requirements into visual, user-friendly solutions

  • Managing data connections, data models and DAX calculations to ensure accuracy and performance
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and iterate on design
  • Conducting data quality analysis to identify and resolve data integrity issues
  • Optimising report performance and maintaining consistent data governance standards
  • Supporting deployment and user adoption of reporting solutions
  • Documenting technical specifications and providing user guidance

Requirements

  • Microsoft Power BI Certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise
  • Proven experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards and data models
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data query optimisation
  • Experience with data quality analysis and stakeholder engagement in data initiatives
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and ETL concepts
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
