Job description

Roles of this type may sit within a growing data team, working to transform raw data into compelling visualisations and insights that drive decision-making across the business. The work could involve collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments to understand their analytics needs, designing and building Power BI solutions that deliver clarity, and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline. You would contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports and data models that help the organisation move faster and smarter., * Designing, developing and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements

  • Building and optimising data models and ETL pipelines to ensure clean, reliable data
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical solutions
  • Conducting data quality analysis to identify and resolve inconsistencies
  • Engaging with business users to understand analytics needs and refine solutions iteratively
  • Maintaining and updating existing Power BI assets as business needs evolve
  • Contributing to the documentation and standardisation of BI processes and best practices

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard design
  • Strong experience with SQL and data modelling
  • Working knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to data quality
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Azure data services or cloud-based analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages
  • Knowledge of distributed systems or microservices architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and version control
  • Additional certifications in data analytics or cloud platforms
