Job description
We’re looking for a Learning Systems & Data Specialist to play a key role in the management, governance and continuous improvement of Aegon’s learning environment. This is a fixed-term role to cover a colleague’s parental leave and offers an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining systems administration, reporting and stakeholder management, while helping to ensure colleagues have access to a robust and effective learning experience. As a subject matter expert for our Learning Management System (LMS), you’ll be responsible for managing learning allocations, monitoring compliance, producing insightful reporting and supporting governance activities across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues across HR, Risk, Compliance and the wider business, you’ll ensure our learning framework continues to meet both regulatory and business requirements. Alongside the day-to-day management of our learning systems and reporting activities, you’ll support a significant business change and transformation programme. This will involve coordinating learning-related change activity, supporting system and process enhancements, and helping to deliver an efficient and effective learning environment that meets the evolving needs of the business. Key Responsibilities include: Own and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring an effective and compliant learning experience for colleagues. Manage mandatory and non-mandatory learning allocations and oversee associated governance activities. Produce and analyse learning compliance reporting and management information, providing insights to key stakeholders. Partner with HR, Risk, Compliance and business teams to support regulatory learning requirements and organisational development initiatives. Support learning-related activity within a significant business change and transformation programme, managing plans, risks, communications and stakeholder engagement. Identify and implement improvements to learning systems, processes and reporting capabilities.
Requirements
Experience administering and managing a Learning Management System (LMS). Strong reporting and data analysis skills, including advanced Excel capability. Experience producing management information and communicating insights to stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills. Experience working within governance, compliance or regulated environments. Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills. Experience supporting system implementations, migrations or business change initiatives. A background in learning operations, learning technology or compliance learning would be advantageous.

Salary: A competitive salary from £30,880 - £46,320 depending on the experience you can bring, We’re serious about your future and our enhanced pension scheme is now in place. We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 9%. If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that’s 7% from you and 13% from us).
