Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing SaaS business on a high-impact contract, helping to shape and deliver advanced pricing optimisation capabilities for the hospitality sector. You will work on innovative projects that directly influence customer decision-making, combining data science, machine learning, and commercial strategy in a fast-paced environment., They are a technology business developing data-driven solutions that help organisations manage, distribute, and optimise critical business information. Their platform enables customers to centralise and maintain accurate data across multiple channels in real time. As they continue to expand their pricing and optimisation capabilities, they are looking for an experienced Pricing Data Scientist to support the development of innovative solutions for their customers. The Role and Deliverables

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain pricing optimisation and modelling algorithms.
  • Build predictive models focused on customer behaviour, demand forecasting, and price elasticity.
  • Develop data-driven pricing strategies and recommendations for customers.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful delivery of pricing solutions.
  • Integrate optimisation models into production environments and continuously improve performance based on real-world outcomes.
  • Support customer experimentation through A/B testing and scenario modelling, while communicating insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.

Requirements

  • Strong experience designing and implementing large-scale pricing optimisation systems.
  • Strong programming capability in Python or R.
  • Expertise in data analysis, manipulation, and statistical modelling techniques.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks, optimisation methods, and time series forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, demand modelling, and elasticity concepts.
  • Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Experience working within SaaS, technology, or e-commerce environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS and deploying analytical solutions into production.
