Cloud Engineer

We’re looking to register interest from talented cloud specialists to join a growing Infrastructure, Cloud and DevOps community. Cloud Engineer roles of this type could involve designing, implementing and maintaining cloud solutions across enterprise systems, supporting organisations as they scale their digital infrastructure and embrace modern deployment practices., * Designing and implementing cloud solutions across Azure, AWS or GCP environments

• Contributing to the architecture and deployment of microservices and distributed systems
• Supporting CI/CD pipeline development and containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
• Working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to automate deployment and configuration
• Collaborating with development teams on API integration and system integration
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising cloud infrastructure performance
• Supporting database design and management across SQL and cloud-native data platforms
• Contributing to security and compliance standards within cloud environments

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Working knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, Java or similar)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)

Nice-to-have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or equivalent
• Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, Spring Boot or React frameworks
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA or SAP RISE
• Knowledge of data pipeline design and data quality practices
• Linux and Windows system administration experience
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, analytics platforms such as Power BI
