SAP Specialist

Roles of this type sit within organizations undergoing digital transformation and enterprise system modernization. You could work across SAP S/4HANA implementations, system integrations and optimization projects, collaborating with stakeholders across finance, operations and technical teams to deliver solutions that improve process efficiency and business outcomes. These are contract-based positions based in Birmingham, West Midlands, offering the flexibility and focused expertise that project-driven environments value., * Supporting the implementation, integration and optimization of SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments

• Collaborating with stakeholders across finance, operations and technical functions to gather requirements and design solutions
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives and business process modeling using BPMN and UML
• Assisting with data pipeline design, data quality assurance and reporting solutions using Power BI and related tools
• Supporting the integration of SAP systems with third-party applications and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Documenting technical specifications, system configurations and process workflows

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE implementations
• Understanding of SAP integration approaches and data management within SAP environments
• Working knowledge of process modeling, financial analysis and process improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with technical fundamentals: SQL, APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly

Nice-to-have

• SAP Certified Professional qualification
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to development frameworks such as .NET, ASP.NET, Java or Spring Boot
• Understanding of data quality frameworks and data governance
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 technical standards
