Director of Web Software Development

Robert Half is partnering with a leading global digital commerce organization seeking a Director of Software Development to lead multiple engineering teams supporting mission-critical customer-facing applications. This position will play a key role in modernization efforts, engineering leadership, organizational development, and technology strategy. The Director will mentor development managers, oversee multiple engineering functions, and partner with executive leadership to deliver scalable software solutions within a fast-growing digital environment., * Lead and mentor software development managers and engineering teams

• Drive modernization initiatives focused on modular architecture and API-first development
• Support Agile and SAFe delivery practices
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and Executive Leadership teams
• Build and maintain high-performing engineering organizations
• Establish engineering standards and best practices
• Support enterprise software delivery initiatives
• Develop long-term technology roadmaps

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 6+ years leadership experience within software development organizations
• 4+ years leading managers
• Experience supporting customer-facing web applications
• Software modernization experience
• Agile and SAFe experience
• Strong communication and organizational leadership skills, * Ecommerce environments
• SaaS platforms
• Digital product organizations
• Azure Cloud
• React, Angular, Vue ecosystem familiarity

• Base salary up to $200,000 - Dependent on experience
• 16% annual bonus
