Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy innovative solutions on the enterprise ServiceNow platform. This is a full-time contract role based onsite in Montgomery, Alabama, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute immediately to a dynamic team supporting state government initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on development expertise with ServiceNow, JavaScript, and APIs to create robust ITSM, SecOps, and GRC/IRM solutions. Partner with us to deliver mission-critical applications, enhance system functionalities, and support long-term digital transformation efforts. Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience (not administration)
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and Glide APIs
Extensive experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, ACLs, and REST API integrations
Proven development experience in ServiceNow ITSM, SecOps, and GRC/IRM modules
Working knowledge of CMDB and Configuration Management
Professional experience in coding, testing, implementation, and production support
Systems analysis, requirements gathering, and technical solution design skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Certifications in ITSM, SecOps, or GRC/IRM implementations
Experience with IntegrationHub, ITOM, Discovery, or Service Mapping
Experience working within state government or large enterprise environments
