Hybrid Test Analyst - Child Support Modernization

We are seeking an experienced Quality Management Test Analyst to support the Connecticut Child Support Modernization initiative by leading and executing comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across critical child support business functions. This individual will partner closely with Child Support program staff, business stakeholders, vendors, developers, and project leadership to validate system functionality, ensure business and federal compliance requirements are met, and confirm overall solution readiness for production deployment. Responsibilities include developing and executing detailed test scenarios and test cases, performing functional, end-to-end, regression, and validation testing, documenting and tracking defects, participating in defect triage and resolution activities, and supporting production readiness and post-go-live stabilization efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and prior experience supporting Child Support Modernization implementations, with the ability to identify business process gaps, validate complex workflows, and ensure delivery of a high-quality solution in a large-scale government environment.

Prior hands-on experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a Child Support Modernization implementation.

Strong knowledge of Child Support business processes, case management operations, policies, and workflows.

Proven experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data for large-scale system implementations.

Demonstrated ability to identify, document, validate, and retest defects while ensuring complete requirements coverage.

Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify business process gaps and system issues.

Experience collaborating with business users, vendors, developers, and project leadership in a government or large enterprise environment, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
