Job description
A growing organization is seeking a Workday HR Systems Analyst to support ongoing human capital management initiatives and provide functional and technical expertise across talent-related processes. This contract opportunity will focus on maintaining existing Workday capabilities while assisting with the deployment of a workforce learning platform scheduled to launch later this year.
The selected professional will contribute to day-to-day system administration, process optimization, stakeholder support, testing activities, and implementation efforts. This role offers a blend of operational support and project-based work within an established enterprise HR technology environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support the administration, configuration, and optimization of talent management processes within the Workday ecosystem.
- Assist with the rollout of a learning management solution, including discovery sessions, system setup, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and technical team members to identify system improvements and process enhancements.
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions.
- Analyze existing workflows and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency, user experience, and adoption.
- Participate in system testing, validation activities, and release management efforts.
- Coordinate with technical resources regarding security, data access, and integration considerations.
- Create and maintain process documentation, training resources, and support materials.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution for end users.
- Support knowledge transfer and continuity initiatives to ensure seamless business operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting Workday in a functional, technical, or hybrid analyst capacity.
- Strong experience with talent management processes and related Workday functionality.
- Experience participating in HR technology implementations, upgrades, or enhancement projects.
- Understanding of business process configuration, testing methodologies, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
Desired Experience
- Experience with learning management systems and employee development technologies.
- Exposure to Workday security, integrations, or cross-functional HR technology initiatives.
- Prior experience supporting enterprise HR applications in a production environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and become productive with limited onboarding., The ideal consultant is equally comfortable supporting day-to-day HR systems operations while contributing to strategic technology initiatives. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on Workday experience, stakeholder partnership, and the ability to navigate both functional and technical requirements within a fast-paced environment.
