Enterprise Application Support

• Serve as the primary technical support resource for enterprise business applications and ERP systems.
• Respond to user issues and service requests through the IT Service Desk while providing exceptional customer support.
• Troubleshoot application, system, and data-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and business continuity.
• Become the internal subject matter expert on enterprise applications and business workflows.
• Document software defects and collaborate with development teams to identify and implement solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support procedures.

SQL Development & Database Management

• Utilize Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to write complex T-SQL queries.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, functions, joins, and other SQL objects.
• Retrieve, validate, and analyze business data to support operational and financial reporting.
• Update database tables and perform ongoing data maintenance tasks.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance and data accuracy.
• Support data integrity initiatives across enterprise applications.

ERP & Financial Systems Support

• Support enterprise ERP platforms such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
• Partner with Finance and Operations teams to support business processes aligned with GAAP and financial reporting workflows.
• Assist with ERP configuration, troubleshooting, testing, upgrades, and system enhancements.
• Analyze business requirements and recommend application improvements that increase operational efficiency.
• Support integrations between ERP platforms and other enterprise business applications.

Reporting & Data Analytics

• Develop SQL-based reports and dashboards for executive leadership and business stakeholders.
• Create tabular and graphical reports using SQL, Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence tools.
• Build reusable reporting solutions that improve operational visibility and reduce manual reporting efforts.
• Support ad hoc reporting requests while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize Power Pivot, Microsoft Query, Power BI, or similar reporting tools when appropriate.

Documentation, Training & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain end-user documentation, technical procedures, and application support guides.
• Train users on enterprise applications, reporting tools, and system best practices.
• Monitor application performance and recommend process improvements.
• Stay current with Microsoft technologies, SQL Server, ERP platforms, and emerging industry trends.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve application performance, reporting capabilities, and user experience.

• 4+ years of professional experience in an IT application support, systems analyst, or data analyst role within a corporate environment (internships, work-study programs, and short-term contracts will not be considered).
• Demonstrated employment stability, including 2+ years of tenure with one or more employers.
• Advanced experience using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Strong expertise writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and joins.
• Experience supporting enterprise ERP platforms such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or comparable enterprise resource planning systems
