Job description
Laughlin, Falbo, Levy & Moresi LLP (LFLM - Workersâ Comp defense law firm) seeks a motivated Network Architect to join our team. As a Network Architect, you will work with a team to design, implement, maintain, and secure the network to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable communication. You will play a major role with regards to the architecture, building, protecting digital infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication, maintaining secure data exchange, and reliable network performance. You will also act as a third-tier troubleshooter occasionally assisting with helpdesk calls that require elevation to resolve. LFLM maintains a hybrid Microsoft environment, so knowledge of cloud and on-prem services is essential., ¡ Maintain and update network systems architecture including LAN, WAN, LSVPN, Wi-Fi, VPN, Azure (hybrid), and other integrations
¡ Plan and implement the firmâs architecture standards, documentation, and roadmaps for routing, switching, segmentation, and firewalling.
¡ Utilize best practices for an Azure hybrid-based environment.
¡ Manage a Hyper-V environment
¡ Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly, providing escalation support when necessary
¡ Oversee and maintain backup schedules for critical systems
¡ Implement preventative controls and support incident response in collaboration with CISO and IT Director.
¡ Provide technical support and guidance to clients and junior staff
¡ Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices
¡ Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
¡ 5 to 7 years of experience in network support, preferably in a legal environment
¡ Prior experience in a mid-sized firm environment is preferred
¡ Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and routing/switching technologies
¡ Proficiency in network monitoring tools and remote management systems
¡ Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ or Security+ are a plus
¡ Excellent communication and customer service skills is a must
¡ Ability to work independently and participate as a team
¡ Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle in California and maintain a driving record that meets company safety standards
¡ Familiarity with SharePoint, Perfectlaw, and Perfectlaw Cloud is a plus
¡ Exhibit a high degree of professionalism, balanced business judgment, tact, and diplomacy
¡ Excellent problem-solving skills, in both mundane and highly sensitive, albeit complex situations
¡ Must be appreciative of clientâs time, and make every attempt to resolve issues as quickly as possible
¡ Occasional overnight travel to LFLM offices

Salary $140,000.00 to $150,000.00 - Increased Salary DOE
