Content Designer

• Create clear, accessible and user-centred content.
• Work across the service lifecycle to understand user needs.
• Shape content strategy and improve information architecture.
• Write, test and iterate content based on user feedback.
• Collaborate closely with user researchers, interaction designers and service designers.
• Ensure content is treated as a core part of the user experience.
• Apply accessibility and inclusive content principles.

This role would suit an experienced Content Designer, UX Writer or Content Specialist with strong writing skills, accessibility knowledge and a user-centred approach. Experience with content strategy, user research and wider experience design would be highly beneficial., Essential:

• SC Clearance
• Strong commercial experience in Content Design / UX Writing.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design.
• Awareness of content strategy and information architecture.
• Confidence testing content with users.
• Strong stakeholder and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Desirable:

• UK Central Government, Defence or regulated-sector experience.
• Knowledge of GDS / GOV.UK service standards.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
