Job description

This is an opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a growing organisation operating within the healthcare sector, helping to build data products that support better decision-making and improve outcomes at scale. You will work on modern cloud-based data platforms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a key role in shaping a data-driven environment.   • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Develop and optimise cloud-based data solutions to support analytics and reporting
  • Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across the data platform
  • Support the migration and modernisation of data infrastructure where required
  • Monitor and improve the performance of data workflows and systems
  • Contribute to best practices in data engineering, automation, and documentation

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Python
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL or ELT pipelines
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing technologies
  • Understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality principles
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a range of stakeholders
  • Experience working with healthcare, clinical, patient, or regulated datasets is advantageous but not essential
