This is an opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a growing organisation operating within the healthcare sector, helping to build data products that support better decision-making and improve outcomes at scale. - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Develop and optimise cloud-based data solutions to support analytics and reporting
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across the data platform
- Support the migration and modernisation of data infrastructure where required
- Monitor and improve the performance of data workflows and systems
- Contribute to best practices in data engineering, automation, and documentation
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python
- Experience building and maintaining ETL or ELT pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with modern data warehousing technologies
- Understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality principles
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a range of stakeholders
- Experience working with healthcare, clinical, patient, or regulated datasets is advantageous but not essential
