Job description

We are looking for a Test Engineer (5 years of experience) for a three-month factoring reporting project in Turnhout, Belgium. You will validate complex internal and financial reports within a proprietary factoring IT ecosystem. The position follows a hybrid model with 50% on-site work and 50% homeworking. The start date is as soon as possible., * Independently design, develop, and execute comprehensive test scenarios for factoring reports.

  • Perform functional and data-driven testing of factoring transactions, client data, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Create structured test plans and document execution steps and pass/fail results.
  • Formally validate reports before implementation.
  • Identify discrepancies between expected and actual report outputs.
  • Provide clear feedback to IT and development teams.
  • Assimilate complex business logic and evolving IT system architectures to maintain robust test coverage.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of IT testing in complex IT environments.
  • Experience with database-driven reporting systems.
  • Experience with requirements management.
  • Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods.
  • Good knowledge of workflow processes.
  • Deep knowledge of factoring processes and products, including recourse and non-recourse factoring, assignment of receivables, and credit limits.
  • English proficiency.
