Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT support professional who enjoys providing a high-quality, hands-on service and is confident supporting senior executives and priority users in a fast-paced environment.
You will provide day-to-day onsite and remote IT support across the organisation’s UK operations, while also contributing to wider IT projects, service improvements and supplier management. The Role
You will be responsible for delivering professional IT support across the organisation’s London and Slough locations, with a particular focus on providing a high level of service to senior stakeholders.
- Provide onsite and remote IT support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, Microsoft 365, mobile, printer and business application issues.
- Deliver discreet, responsive support to senior executives, including meeting, travel and remote-working requirements.
- Provide meeting-room and audio-visual support across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex and other collaboration platforms.
- Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow, while providing first-line troubleshooting across LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and connectivity issues.
- Work with wider IT teams, suppliers and service providers on projects, service improvements, procurement and technical issues.
Requirements
We’re looking for an experienced IT support professional with 3-5 years’ experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support or a similar user-facing role.
- Experience providing high-touch IT support to senior executives or priority users, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS/iOS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience troubleshooting networks, VPN, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues, alongside user accounts, permissions and device deployment.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Experience working with IT service management tools and third-party suppliers; multi-site, Group, financial services or investment experience would be advantageous.
Technical Knowledge
- Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support.
- Windows and Apple device support, including onboarding and device management.
- Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wi-Fi.
- ITIL-aligned incident, request and escalation processes, alongside cybersecurity and data protection awareness.
- Familiarity with audio-visual/meeting-room technology, endpoint management or security tooling would be beneficial., If you’re an experienced IT Support Specialist who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and enjoys working in a high-trust, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
