Job description

We are seeking an Epic Certified Clinical Workflow Analyst with deep expertise in clinical workflow optimization, application build/configuration, Unix/Linux environments, and multi-region rollouts. In this role, you will partner directly with clinical stakeholders, integration engineers, and infrastructure teams to lead implementations, regional cutovers, and downstream API interoperability., * Configure, build, and optimize Epic clinical workflows across certified application modules in alignment with institutional clinical guidelines.

  • Translate clinical stakeholder requirements into technical specifications, design documents, and Epic build tasks.
  • Lead and support regional, multi-site Epic rollouts, overseeing configuration build, cutover coordination, dress rehearsals, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Navigate Unix/Linux server environments to monitor deployment scripts, inspect runtime logs, review job schedules, and triage operational production issues.
  • Analyze how downstream applications ingest and exchange data via Epic services, FHIR/web APIs, and HL7 integration touchpoints.
  • Plan and drive end-to-end testing cycles (SIT, UAT, regression, and integrated clinical dress rehearsals) through cutover and warranty periods.
  • Create and update functional workflows, data-mapping sheets, runbooks, and SOPs for operational support teams.

Requirements

  • Epic Certification in one or more core clinical applications (e.g., ClinDoc, Orders, Ambulatory, Stork, ASAP, OpTime).
  • 5+ years of hands-on Epic clinical application analysis, configuration build, and workflow design.
  • Demonstrated track record supporting regional or multi-site enterprise Epic deployments.
  • Practical, hands-on experience using Unix/Linux environments (command-line navigation, file systems, log inspection, basic shell scripting).
  • Working knowledge of Epic APIs/web services, integration models, and downstream healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
  • Proven success managing cross-functional clinical, QA, and technical infrastructure stakeholders through go-live lifecycles.
