Job description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong pharmacy domainexpertise, preferably within Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy, to support pharmacyautomation, modernization, integration, and operational technology initiatives. This role requires strong Business Analysis and Product Ownershipcapabilities, including requirements elicitation, process analysis, roadmap andportfolio planning, backlog management, prioritization, user story development,and acceptance criteria definition., * Partner with pharmacy operations and business stakeholders to understand needs, processes, pain points, and opportunities.

  • Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs based on business value, operational impact, dependencies, and priorities.
  • Support product roadmap and portfolio planning and ensure development teams have well-defined requirements.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, UAT, and other Agile activities.
  • Work closely with architects, developers, QA, data, and integration teams to clarify requirements and support delivery.
  • Analyze current and future-state pharmacy processes and identify opportunities for automation and modernization.
  • Support pharmacy system integration, API, data, and legacy modernization initiatives.
  • Track requirements, dependencies, risks, and decisions across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Serve as a key liaison between pharmacy stakeholders and technology teams, enabling rapid decisions and effective delivery.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or similar techno functional role.
  • Strong pharmacy domain experience is required.
  • Experience with pharmacy operations and pharmacy technology; LTC pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT.
  • Strong hand-on experience with backlog management, prioritization, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills., * Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience.
  • Experience with pharmacy billing, claims/adjudication, prescription/order workflows, dispensing, or pharmacy automation.
  • Experience with pharmacy integrations, APIs, EDI, or healthcare interoperability.
  • Experience with Aha! for roadmap/portfolio planning and Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management and Agile delivery.
  • Experience with AS/400 / IBM i or other legacy pharmacy platforms.
  • Experience supporting application modernization and digital transformation.
