Job description

We are currently in search of a qualified Desktop Technician to join our client’s team onsite in Camden, NJ. This position supports both Windows and macOS users and requires a strong combination of technical troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. The technician will provide day-to-day support for end users, resolve hardware and software issues, deploy and maintain equipment, manage service requests, and work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure a positive end-user experience., Provide support across Windows and macOS environments, including hardware, software, operating systems, Microsoft 365, applications, peripherals, mobile devices, and basic connectivity issues Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, replace, and maintain laptops, desktops, Macs, monitors, docking stations, printers, and other end-user equipment Support new-hire setups, workstation moves, hardware refreshes, and device replacements Manage assigned incidents and service requests through resolution, maintaining accurate documentation, timely status updates, and appropriate follow-up. Escalate issues to additional technical teams when necessary Provide professional onsite, walk-up, phone, email, Teams, and remote support while maintaining clear communication and a positive customer experience Perform basic user and account troubleshooting, including Active Directory and common access-related issues Maintain accurate records of deployed, returned, and spare IT equipment and assist with equipment lifecycle and inventory activities Collaborate with other IT teams and participate in technology projects, hardware refreshes, migrations, deployments, and other onsite initiatives as needed, At , you’re more than just a number. Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on desktop, deskside, or end-user support experience Experience supporting both Windows and macOS devices in a corporate environment Strong hardware, software, and general troubleshooting skills Experience with computer configuration, deployment, imaging, and hardware replacement Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, Active Directory, and common enterprise applications Experience using ServiceNow or a similar IT service management/ticketing platform Understanding of basic network and connectivity troubleshooting Ability to independently manage multiple tickets, priorities, and follow-up Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills Professional, approachable, and comfortable interacting with users at all levels of an organization Positive attitude with the ability to build strong working relationships with end users and team members Strong attention to detail, documentation, and follow-through Both Windows and macOS devices support experience preferred Experience providing onsite support within a corporate or enterprise environment preferred Experience with hardware refreshes, migrations, and large-scale device deployments preferred Familiarity with IT asset and inventory management preferred Experience supporting iOS/mobile devices preferred
