Inventory Technician

Our client is looking for an Asset Inventory Technician. We are looking for someone with HAM/SAM inventory experience. This person will maintain hardware/ software lifecycle, coordinate and schedule asset shipping for all sites, and Perform data loads of new hardware assets and consumables in ServiceNow.

Additional job duties:

Maintaining software asset management tools including accurate inventory of software

Obtain software vendor quotes.

Identify savings opportunities through software re-harvesting and license optimization.

Process and ensure the accuracy of damage and defective returns.

Ensure standards, guidelines and controls are maintained.

Track progress and follow-up of issues and assist with troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems.

Coordinate and schedule asset disposal pick up.

Customer Service is an critical part of this job. The users have a varying understanding of technology which requires someone with strong patience and interpersonal skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Calverton, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
