Job description

  • Establish and launch the ART; recommend train topology
  • Facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt
  • Assess and mature the current SAFe implementation
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and flow metrics across distributed, multi-vendor teams
  • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team leads

Requirements

  • Enterprise RTE experience, including at least one ART launch from the ground up
  • Track record maturing an underperforming or partially adopted SAFe practice
  • Experience across distributed, mixed employee/vendor teams
  • Strong influence without direct authority
  • SAFe RTE certification (SPC preferred)

Screening: Prioritize candidates who have built an ART, not just run one.

Duration: Local as in being able to work 3 days / week

About the company

RTE to stand up and run its first Agile Release Train as part of an enterprise transformation through 2027. The environment: ~13 teams (nine products, two platforms, two enabling) across two value streams, staffed with employees and contractors onshore, nearshore, and offshore. A SAFe program exists but no ART has been formally launched, and the practice needs maturing. Must be local to the the Fort Lauderdale Area.
