This position is well-suited to a hands-on technical leader who is looking to combine software development expertise with people management responsibilities while shaping next-generation simulation solutions. You will oversee the enhancement of simulation products, guide architectural decisions, and support the development of a talented international software team. Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance simulation software used within warehouse execution systems.
• Drive software architecture, design standards and code quality initiatives.
• Support developers with technical problem-solving and best practice implementation.
• Lead, mentor and develop an international software development team.
• Work closely with Product Owners, QA teams and key stakeholders.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and long-term team development.

• Strong background in software development and software architecture.
• Experience leading software engineering teams.
• Knowledge of modern development methodologies, CI/CD and clean code principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with internationally distributed teams is advantageous.
• Fluent German and strong English language skills.
