Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Support Specialist / Computer Operations Analyst to support enterprise data center and network operations for a large-scale environment. The ideal candidate will monitor production systems, environmental controls, network availability, and security systems while ensuring uninterrupted statewide access and operational stability. This role requires hands-on experience with data center infrastructure, production control, automated job scheduling, and incident management processes., Monitor BPE/TPE transactions and enterprise production systems Support Network Operations Center (NOC) activities and statewide connectivity Monitor and maintain data center environmental systems including HVAC, UPS, generators, and electrical systems Ensure data center security, fire detection, and suppression systems are functioning properly Manage production control processes and automated job scheduling tools such as Control-M Coordinate with hardware and software vendors for maintenance and support activities Support incident, problem, change, and asset management procedures following ITIL practices Monitor distributed server environments including AIX, Linux, and Windows systems Ensure printed output and operational deliverables meet quality standards Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery operations

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Two-year degree/certificate in Information Technology or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience in a large Data Center environment Experience with Network Operations Center (NOC) support Experience with Production Control and automated job schedulers Hands-on experience with Control-M and TPE/BPE Manager Knowledge of LAN/WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, and SNA networking technologies Experience supporting HVAC, UPS, generators, and electrical systems in a data center Familiarity with change, incident/problem, and asset management processes Experience with AIX, Linux, and Windows distributed servers Strong understanding of ITIL methodologies Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Experience supporting State or Federal government environments Significant experience in enterprise computer operations and data center support Strong background in disaster recovery and business continuity operations
