Data Center Technician

We are seeking a Data Center Technician to support a cutting-edge infrastructure project in Ellendale, North Dakota. This role is ideal for hands-on professionals with experience in cabling, fiber optics, and data center operations who are excited to work at the forefront of AI and cloud computing technologies.

• Cable Management & Electrical Safety
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling, cable bundling standards, and EM shielding
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices; NFPA 70E familiarity preferred
• Experience with power balancing and safe cable routing
• Fiber Optics Expertise
• Understanding of fiber optic types and connector standards
• Experience with fiber testing, cleaning, and scoping
• Ticketing & Administrative Skills
• Experience using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
• Strong written communication and documentation skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Break/Fix Support
• Basic hardware troubleshooting and part replacement
• Understanding of ESD protocols and safe handling practices
• Networking Fundamentals
• Familiarity with network topology and basic networking terminology
• No advanced troubleshooting or CLI experience required

• 3-Phase Power
• General understanding of 3-phase power systems and data center power distribution
