REPORTING & DATA VALIDATION LEAD

The Reporting & Data Validation Lead will manage validation, quality assurance, and analysis of information used in CPUC oversight of CA Connect contracts. The position will help ensure dashboards, performance metrics, reports, and supporting data are accurate, complete, traceable, and consistent with contractual, * Validate vendor-submitted performance and reporting data.

• Analyze datasets for gaps, errors, inconsistencies, anomalies, and trends.
• Support definition and documentation of reporting requirements and required data elements.
• Perform quality-assurance reviews of dashboards, metrics, and automated reports.
• Track contractual performance metrics and service levels.
• Document data definitions, sources, calculation methodologies, and metric logic.
• Support coordination with ERP/reporting resources and other data-producing vendors.
• Develop findings and recommendations resulting from data analysis.
• Support monthly and executive-level oversight reporting.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze datasets and identify gaps, errors, inconsistencies, and trends.
• Must reside in California
• Must be willing to travel to meetings within the state; periodically.

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Multi-vendor reporting-validation or regulated-program experience.
• ERP/reporting-system and dashboard experience.
• Experience documenting data definitions and metric logic.
• California government/regulatory or disability/accessibility-program experience.

Common Requirements for CPUC Key Staff

• Must be based in California and perform assigned agreement work from California unless otherwise authorized by CPUC.
• Must be available during the required Pacific Time business hours and for required in-person meetings.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with executives, regulatory personnel, vendors, and consumer/advisory stakeholders.
• Must demonstrate sound professional judgment, objective oversight, risk identification, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Candidates should be prepared to participate in a CPUC Key Staff interview as part of the proposal evaluation process.

Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
