Senior Java Microservices Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to help design, build, and support scalable enterprise applications with a strong focus on Core Java, Spring Boot microservices, and database development. This role offers the opportunity to work on cloud-ready solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to modernization and CI/CD initiatives. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and support integrations with internal and external systems.
• Translate business needs into practical technical solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to promote strong engineering practices.
• Investigate and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues in enterprise applications.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to CI/CD efforts and application modernization initiatives.

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, including OOP concepts, collections, multithreading, concurrency, exception handling, and JVM fundamentals.
• Experience with Java 8+ features such as streams, lambda expressions, and functional programming concepts.
• Proven experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
• Solid background in microservices architecture and REST API design.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Ability to write and tune SQL, support schema design, and optimize queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, or Azure Key Vault.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Familiarity with API gateways, event-driven architecture, and distributed system resiliency patterns.
• Experience implementing security best practices, including OAuth and JWT authentication.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
