Technical Architect/Architectural Technologist

9B Careers is working with an established Cambridge architectural practice looking for a qualified Architect or Architectural Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone with broad experience across the RIBA stages, with strong technical skills being particularly important. The Role

• Work on projects from planning through to technical delivery
• Produce detailed drawing and construction packages
• Take projects through the technical stages and ideally Stage 5
• Coordinate with consultants and other members of the project team
• Contribute across multiple project stages depending on experience
• Working on housing, healthcare, education and commercial

• Qualified Architect or Architectural Technician
• Good experience across the RIBA work stages
• Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge
• Stage 4 and ideally Stage 5 experience
• AutoCAD is essential
• Revit experience would be advantageous but is not required
• Good communication and organisational skills, The practice may consider candidates who have less experience in certain areas where they can demonstrate particularly strong technical capabilities.

This is a 100% office-based position, so candidates will need to be based within a reasonable commute of Cambridge or happy to relocate. £38,000-£45,000 depending on experience.
