Deployment and Testing Technician - Black Mountain & JFK ADATC

Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals in clinical and administrative settings.

• Install software and ensure proper system/application configurations in line with organizational standards.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and peripheral issues; escalate complex issues to IT support as needed.
• Conduct end-to-end device testing, especially for Epic system readiness (Technical Dress Rehearsal/TDR).
• Test connectivity, application performance, and Epic workflow functionality on deployed devices.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware deployments, configurations, and testing outcomes.
• Document troubleshooting steps, testing procedures, and contribute to post-deployment reports.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to schedule installations and minimize operational disruptions.
• Assist with user training and provide basic guidance on using new devices and systems.
• Participate in team meetings, providing progress updates on deployments and testing.
• May require lifting/transporting equipment (up to 50 lbs) and traveling between facilities.

Preferred qualifications: Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience), 1-3 years in IT hardware deployment, familiarity with healthcare IT/Epic, and IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.).
