Deployment and Testing Technician - Caswell Center

Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, peripherals, and printers for clinical and administrative environments.

• Install software and ensure proper system configurations and application installations.
• Set up hardware in compliance with organizational standards and security policies.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and peripheral issues; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing of devices to support Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and validate Epic system readiness.
• Test device connectivity, application performance, and Epic workflow functionality.
• Document device deployments, configurations, testing outcomes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Prepare and contribute to reports on deployment, testing results, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to schedule and perform installations and testing with minimal disruption.
• Assist users with training and provide basic guidance on new devices and systems.
• Attend team meetings and provide updates on deployment and testing status.
• Must be able to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs and travel between facilities as needed.
• May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on project requirements.

Preferred qualifications include experience in healthcare IT environments, knowledge of Epic or EHR systems, and IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.
