Lead Engineer Corporate Applications

• Several years of experience in engineering and the further development of business-critical platforms or IT services in enterprise environments.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, a completed IT apprenticeship with excellent grades.
• Experience in planning and managing projects in agile environments: quarterly planning, sprint backlogs, prioritization, and tracking goals and actions are part of your daily routine.
• In-depth knowledge of modern engineering and operations approaches, as well as practical experience in areas such as automation, observability, integration, containerization, databases, and IT security.
• The ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in German and English and to make sound decisions; you are characterized by a sense of ownership, a service-oriented mindset, a commitment to quality, and experience in managing budgets and capacities.

• Remote Work: Work flexibly-two days a week remotely and three days on-site.

Your Role:

• You’ll be responsible for the further development of our corporate applications and services, setting clear guidelines for your area of responsibility, and making confident decisions regarding architecture, operations, technologies, and priorities.
• Together with your cross-functional team, you’ll develop applications and platforms into stable, secure, and user-oriented services that can be deployed and operated with high performance.
• You will consistently expand standards, documentation, monitoring, automation, and operational processes; ensure that knowledge management is actively practiced; and guarantee reliable, transparent IT operations.
• You’ll develop roadmaps, derive annual goals, quarterly initiatives, and sprint backlogs from them, manage their implementation, and maintain transparency regarding progress, risks, capacity, and budgets at all times.
• You’ll promote automation, modern observability concepts, new technologies, and AI-supported work methods; actively take ownership of the further development of our services; and strengthen your team as an experienced Team Lead / Squad Lead (m/f/d) within a culture of service quality and continuous improvement., * Attractive Locations: At our locations, you can expect not only fully equipped workstations but also regular events such as summer parties and Christmas celebrations.
