Senior Software Engineer, Events Platform (Remote)

The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, EVENTS PLATFORM is responsible for building backend services, APIs, infrastructure components, and distributed systems that support the platform’s infrastructure. This role focuses on developing shared platform capabilities to enable engineering teams to deliver quality software reliably and efficiently. The position collaborates cross-functionally to design solutions that enhance customer growth and adoption, emphasizing developer velocity and operational reliability., * Build internal developer platforms, shared services, APIs, and libraries supporting core platform functions.

• Design reliable backend systems for cross-domain business processes and critical operations.
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to define clear, high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure quality through testing, observability, controlled rollouts, and production issue resolution.
• Promote a self-service approach to improve developer efficiency and reduce repetitive work.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering focused on backend systems and APIs.
• Proficiency in Go programming language.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, service mesh technologies like Istio, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, and CI/CD systems.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration, event-driven architectures, and managing operational complexity.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Background in streaming technologies like Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis.
• Experience developing shared platform capabilities used across multiple teams or products.
• Commitment to quality in CI/CD processes, telemetry, and production system ownership.

• The national total target cash compensation range for this position, including base salary and bonus target, is $158,000 - $190,000 annually.
• Final offer amounts depend on experience, expertise, and location, and may vary from this range.
• This range excludes additional compensation benefits such as equity, 401(k), or health-related insurance.
