Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT User Support Technician to join our technology team. In this role, you will be the frontline hero for resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining the health of our IT infrastructure. Your energetic approach and technical expertise will ensure seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems across the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service and technical support., * Provide timely and effective desktop support to users experiencing hardware, software, or network issues.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Assist with configuring and maintaining computer hardware, peripherals, and network equipment including LAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, and routers.
  • Support Active Directory management tasks such as user account setup, password resets, and permissions adjustments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving TCP/IP protocols, DNS configurations, and LAN/WAN environments.
  • Utilize tools like SCCM, ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and ServiceNow to track incidents, manage assets, and document solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members on complex technical issues involving software troubleshooting, operating systems support, or hardware repairs to ensure quick resolution.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN configurations.
  • Proficiency in desktop support across multiple operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools to assist users effectively.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory management for user account administration.
  • Familiarity with security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and TCP protocols to secure organizational data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware components such as computers, printers, and peripherals efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence in help desk environments.
  • Analysis skills for diagnosing complex technical issues quickly and accurately.
