Join our dynamic cybersecurity team as a Cybersecurity Analyst and become a vital defender of our digital infrastructure! Your expertise will help us maintain compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and FISMA while ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about protecting information assets, this opportunity is perfect for you to make a meaningful impact!, * Monitor and analyze security events using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools like Splunk or SolarWinds to detect potential threats and incidents.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security risk investigations across network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.
  • Manage and configure cybersecurity tools such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems, VPNs, and network protocols to strengthen defenses.
  • Perform security system administration tasks, including system hardening, patch management, and access control using identity & access management solutions like LDAP or Active Directory.
  • Investigate security breaches or anomalies by analyzing logs, traffic patterns, and threat intelligence data to determine root causes.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans, disaster recovery procedures, and incident recovery strategies aligned with industry standards like ISO 27002 and NIST frameworks.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on security engineering projects involving cloud security architecture (Azure, AWS), virtualization (vSphere), load balancing, and high availability configurations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in computer networking concepts including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP stack, DNS, DHCP, IPsec VPNs, and network support.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001/27002, FIPS compliance, PCI DSS requirements, and FISMA regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools including SIEM platforms (Splunk or SolarWinds), vulnerability scanners like Nmap or Burp Suite, and threat detection & response technologies.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), macOS, Solaris, openSUSE or Debian for system security hardening.
  • Ability to perform vulnerability management activities including vulnerability research, assessment reports, risk management frameworks (RMF), and system security plans.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation of security tasks; experience with Ansible or PowerShell is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills for conducting security analysis, log analysis, network monitoring, and incident management in accordance with ITIL processes.
