Job description
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a leading change and transformation consultancy, supporting clients across data reporting, visualisation and data modelling., * Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models.
- Work across the data lifecycle, from data engineering through to reporting and visualisation.
- Translate client requirements into clear reporting and data solutions.
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues impacting reporting.
- Support data governance, metric definitions and data ownership.
- Contribute to data cataloguing, metadata and business glossary activities.
- Support executive decision-making through clear data storytelling and visualisation., If you’re an experienced Data Analyst with strong Power BI, SQL, data modelling and visualisation experience, we’d love to hear from you.
Requirements
- Strong Power BI experience.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and analysis.
- Experience with data modelling and semantic models, including Star Schema/Kimball principles.
- Understanding of Data Warehousing, Lakehouse and Medallion architectures.
- Experience working with Data Engineers, Architects and Product Owners.
- 3+ years’ experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Experience with Tableau, Looker or Microsoft Fabric would be advantageous.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP or Azure would be advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field would be advantageous.
