2nd Line IT Supporter

• Strong experience working in a 2nd Line IT Support / IT Engineer role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Hands-on experience with Azure
• Experience with Entra ID / Azure AD
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory
• Good understanding of networking including DNS, DHCP and VPNs
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• A genuine interest in Cloud Infrastructure, AI and emerging technologies

We’re partnered with an exciting and growing AI Consultancy in Southampton that is delivering innovative technology solutions to businesses across the UK. As the company continues to expand, they’re now looking for a skilled 2nd Line IT Engineer to join their technical team and play an important role in supporting their users, systems and growing technology environment.

This is far more than a standard 2nd Line support role. You’ll be working within a modern, technology-driven business where you’ll gain hands-on exposure to Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory, while supporting a range of technical environments and resolving increasingly complex issues.

You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in cloud infrastructure, technical projects, security improvements and wider infrastructure development, giving you the chance to build experience beyond traditional service desk support. Working alongside experienced technical professionals, you’ll be encouraged to develop your technical knowledge and take on greater responsibility.
