Job description
As a Blow Molding Technical Lead, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for our plastic extrusion and molding operations. You will drive operational excellence by optimizing production cycles and mentoring technical staff to ensure high-quality output and consistent manufacturing performance. Responsibilities
- Direct the daily blow molding production workflow to maximize equipment uptime and product consistency.
- Spearhead process improvement initiatives that minimize material waste and elevate overall production yields.
- Provide hands-on technical mentorship to production teams, fostering a culture of safety and operational best practices.
- Utilize production data and key performance indicators to diagnose process bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
- Partner with engineering and quality departments to resolve complex technical challenges and refine manufacturing parameters.
- Oversee rigorous preventive maintenance schedules and equipment inspections to ensure peak machine health.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to track process changes and production outcomes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive hands-on experience with blow molding and plastic extrusion processes.
- Strong understanding of industrial process controls and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing management software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and communicate technical concepts effectively., * Degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity within manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of successful process optimization projects.
