Job description

We are seeking an IT Operations & SAP Specialist that will serve as the primary point of contact for outsourced IT support oversight, vendor management, infrastructure monitoring, and day-to-day technology operations. The position partners closely with business stakeholders, external service providers, and regional technology teams to support enterprise applications, operational continuity, compliance requirements, and end-user productivity while helping maintain and enhance critical business systems., * Oversee third-party IT support providers to ensure timely and effective resolution of employee technology issues.

  • Monitor service levels, infrastructure performance, system availability, and operational metrics; coordinate issue resolution and escalation as needed.
  • Support the administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise business applications.
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for IT operations, including application support, user access management, software licensing, compliance activities, technology asset management, and end-user support.
  • Manage technology vendors, contracts, invoices, renewals, and service performance in alignment with organizational objectives and budget requirements.
  • Coordinate hardware, software, mobile device, and peripheral procurement, deployment, inventory management, maintenance, and replacement planning.
  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and access management processes in partnership with key business stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation related to technology assets, processes, licenses, vendor relationships, support procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify technology needs, enhance user experience, strengthen operational controls, and support scalable technology solutions.
  • Ensure technology practices align with company policies, cybersecurity standards, software licensing requirements, privacy expectations, and audit requirements.
  • Participate in technology projects, upgrades, implementations, testing efforts, and change management initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting IT operations, systems administration, business applications, or related technology functions.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications, including system configuration, troubleshooting, user administration, security roles, access management, integrations, and master data maintenance.
  • Experience coordinating IT operations, service desk support, vendor relationships, systems administration, and technology support within a corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software platforms, productivity tools, user access management, software licensing, technology asset management, and foundational infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience participating in major enterprise system implementations, upgrades, migrations, or large-scale technology projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage third-party technology providers, monitor service performance, document issues, and drive resolution through to completion.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles, compliance requirements, data protection practices, risk management, and internal control processes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify technology needs, improve processes, and support operational objectives.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment., * Customer-focused service mindset with strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical IT actions and vendor requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, documentation, and prioritization.
  • Analytical approach to troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and process improvement.

  • Comfort working independently while collaborating across functions, vendors, and geographically distributed teams.
