Job description
- Administer and maintain Linux servers, virtualization infrastructure, shared storage, and Cisco networking equipment.
- Oversee Oracle Linux environments, user virtual machines, and FreeIPA identity and DNS services.
- Perform vulnerability remediation, CVE assessments, and IAVM tracking to ensure operational security and high availability., * Administer Oracle Linux systems (versions 8, 9, and 10), including installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Manage user virtual machines within Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM).
- Maintain Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance shared storage infrastructure across unclassified and classified environments.
- Support FreeIPA identity and DNS services for system environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity and Cisco IOS-XE network devices.
- Assess Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), track remediation efforts, and support IAVM management.
- Document configurations, maintenance procedures, incidents, and system changes.
- Ensure network and system reliability to maintain high availability and minimize user downtime.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 14+ years
- Total Compensation: $320k+ yearly (tentative)
