Job description
- Administer and maintain enterprise Linux servers, virtualization infrastructure, shared storage, and Cisco networking equipment.
- Manage virtual machines, storage appliances, and identity services across classified and unclassified environments.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, CVE remediation tracking, and IAVM management to ensure system security and high availability., * Administer Oracle Linux 8, 9, and 10 systems, including installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Manage user virtual machines in Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM).
- Maintain Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance (ZS11-2) shared storage across operational environments.
- Support FreeIPA identity and DNS services for system environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity and Cisco IOS-XE devices in coordination with network teams.
- Assess Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), track remediation efforts, and support IAVM management.
- Document system configurations, standard maintenance procedures, incidents, and architecture changes.
- Maintain high network and system availability to minimize user downtime.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 7+ years
- Total Compensation: $282k+ yearly (tentative)
