Job description
This Principal-level role owns customer application success for advanced manufacturing systems, providing technical leadership from initial concept through full production deployment. The position is responsible for defining, integrating, validating, and industrializing complex systems that operate reliably in real-world production environments and scale across multiple customer sites. As a technical authority, this role drives the transition from first-of-kind implementations to standardized, repeatable, production-ready solutions., * Serve as the technical lead for customer deployments, pilots, demonstrations, and production launches.
- Own end-to-end translation of customer requirements into machine workflows and manufacturable outputs.
- Lead installation, commissioning, calibration, and site acceptance activities.
- Resolve complex field issues spanning hardware, software, controls, and manufacturing processes.
- Own and architect CAD-to-production workflows using Siemens NX.
- Define routings, toolpaths, fixtures, and build definitions for scalable production.
- Establish and maintain configuration control and digital traceability across deployed systems.
- Develop, standardize, and industrialize manufacturing methods for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
- Drive improvements in system repeatability, throughput, and first-pass yield.
- Author and govern SOPs, training materials, acceptance criteria, and support NCR and root-cause analysis efforts.
- Act as a technical mentor and escalation point for cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
Do you have experience in NX?, * 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, applications, or systems engineering.
- Proven experience leading customer-facing deployments in production environments.
- Proficiency with Siemens NX.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-disciplinary technical issues., * Advanced Siemens NX expertise or formal certification.
- Wiring harness or cable assembly modeling experience.
- Experience with Teamcenter or other PLM systems.
- Hands-on experience with robotic systems, CNC equipment, and PLC-controlled automation.
- Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Expertise in connectors, shielding, and electrical testing methodologies.
- Background in defense or aerospace manufacturing environments.
